This is the Digital Swiss Design large travel back pack. It’s also on sale for 30% off right now.
I know that everyone thinks their backpack is the best for traveling, but this one has everything. There are so many pockets to stay organized, a hidden compartment for shoes, and it opens like a suitcase. Best of all, it is budget airline friendly so you wont end up paying for a carry-on on accident.
Compartments
There are a variety of compartments on the inside and outside of the back pack. These keep me so organized when packing. This bag makes it so easy to pack and unpack from trips.
Outside
Main: The main pocket can be accessed from the suitcase open or front the top. I can usually fit enough clothes in here for a week vacation. I used this backpack for work as well. It was big enough to fit my tennis shoes, gym outfit, lunch box, laptops, and water bottle.
Front: The front pocket is pretty slim but I keep important and easily grab-able items like my wallet or pens in it. You can also put a battery pack in it to use the USB charger on the side.
Front Side: This is the perfect little pocket for your phone. Especially when I take this to the airport I put in anything I may need fast in the very front pocket.
Shoe Storage: There is a side shoe compartment where you can take out your shoes without everything else in your backpack falling out. Also your shoes don’t get the rest of your clothes dirty.
Insulated Side: The insulated side pocket is great for keeping your water cold, especially when going to a warmer climate.
Phone: There is a secret phone pocket that zips up on the back. It is hidden and will lay flat on your back. This makes it easy to reach for your phone without taking off your backpack. Sometimes I forget I put my phone in here though.
Inside
Top Zipper: The main compartment can be accessed from the top so you don’t need to lay the whole thing open like a suitcase to grab something out. This is really nice when using the back pack for work because it doesn’t even look like a travel backpack.
Inside Upper: There is a small zipper compartment that is perfect for keeping a makeup bag or little emergency kit. It stays out of the way but is easily accessible.
Laptop: There are two laptop pockets in one. There is one with a little strap to hold everything in and a spot for a notebook or something like that.
Spirit Approved
The dimensions for Spirit is 18”x14”x8” and this bag is 20”x13”x7.5”. This back pack does fit in the personal item thing at the airport, but you really have to push it in there. It fits fine underneath the seat, however I would recommend trying to get a spot in the overhead bin.
I think this backpack is so slim looking that they don’t even question if it’s too big. Since it’s a back pack you most likely wont get stopped at the gate. I have gone on at least ten flights with this back pack and have never gotten questioned.
How to Pack
I can fit enough clothes for a week to Florida in the Digital Swiss back pack. This is just an example of everything I fit in my bag for a 6 day trip to Clearwater Florida. I wore my tennis shoes, a sweatshirt, shorts, and a shirt on the plane.

Hidden Features
One of the best things about this back pack it the anti-theft locks on it. They don’t actually lock, so you don’t need to remember a code or anything. There are clips to make the zippers not accidentally unzip. These are super helpful when you are packing your back pack super full to fit the whole trip in.
The straps also have extra padding and technology on the straps to make the back pack lighter. My back pack is always so full but gets so heavy. My back is not very strong and gets tired fast. I have no problem walking through the airport with this on. I don’t know how it works but it is very nice to not have a back pack weighing you down.
